To evaluate the durability of bamboo fiber asphalt mixture using four gradation schemes, the durability of the bamboo fiber asphalt mixture is studied considering three aspects ageing durability, freeze-thaw cycle durability and fatigue durability through the Marshall test, indoor ageing test, uniaxial compression test, low-temperature bending test, immersion Marshall test, freeze-thaw splitting test and four-point bending fatigue test. Nonfiber asphalt mixture and lignin fiber asphalt mixture were used as control groups. The results show that the addition of plant fiber can effectively improve the durability of asphalt mixture. Bamboo fiber modified asphalt mastic has good ductility and adhesion due to its rough surface and good oil absorption performance. Bamboo fiber asphalt mixture has better and more stable low-temperature ageing durability and moisture ageing durability than lignin fiber asphalt mixture, but its mechanical property is weaker than the latter. It is still a challenging task due to the diversity and similarity of human actions. In this paper, a novel hierarchical deep learning-based methodology equipped with low-cost sensors is proposed for high-accuracy device-free human activity recognition. ESP8266, as the sensing hardware, was utilized to deploy the WiFi sensor network and collect multi-dimensional received signal strength indicator (RSSI) records. The proposed learning model presents a coarse-to-fine hierarchical classification framework with two-level perception modules. In the coarse-level stage, twelve statistical features of time-frequency domains were extracted from the RSSI measurements filtered by a butterworth low-pass filter, and a support vector machine (SVM) model was employed to quickly recognize the basic human activities by classifying the signal statistical features. In the fine-level stage, the gated recurrent unit (GRU), a representative type of recurrent neural network (RNN), was applied to address issues of the confused recognition of similar activities. The GRU model can realize automatic multi-level feature extraction from the RSSI measurements and accurately discriminate the similar activities. The experimental results show that the proposed approach achieved recognition accuracies of 96.45% and 94.59% for six types of activities in two different environments and performed better compared the traditional pattern-based methods. With the advent of advanced genetic sequencing technology, several different classes of ncRNAs have been uncovered, including microRNAs (miRNAs), long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), circular RNAs (circRNAs), and piwi-interacting RNAs (piRNAs), which have been linked to many important developmental and disease processes and are being pursued as clinical and therapeutic targets. Molecular phenotyping studies of glioblastoma (GBM), the most common and lethal cancer of the adult brain, revealed that several ncRNAs are frequently dysregulated in its pathogenesis. Additionally, ncRNAs regulate many important aspects of glioma biology including tumour cell proliferation, migration, invasion, apoptosis, angiogenesis, and self-renewal. Here, we present an overview of the biogenesis of the different classes of ncRNAs, discuss their biological roles, as well as their relevance to gliomagenesis. However, their instability and low intestinal permeability hamper oral bioavailability. Well-established for oral delivery, self-emulsifying drug delivery systems (SEDDS) can overcome the weakness of other delivery systems such as long-term instability of nanoparticles or complicated formulation processes. Therefore, the present study aims to prepare SEDDS for delivery of a nonspecific fluorescently labeled OND across the intestinal Caco-2 monolayer. The hydrophobic ion pairing of an OND and a cationic lipid served as an effective hydrophobization method using either dimethyldioctadecylammonium bromide (DDAB) or 1,2-dioleoyl-3-trimethylammonium propane (DOTAP). This strategy allowed a successful loading of OND-cationic lipid complexes into both negatively charged and neutral SEDDS. Subjecting both complex-loaded SEDDS to a nuclease, the negatively charged SEDDS protected about 16% of the complexed OND in contrast to 58% protected by its neutral counterpart. Furthermore, both SEDDS containing permeation-enhancing excipients facilitated delivery of OND across the intestinal Caco-2 cell monolayer. In conclusion, these novel SEDDS-based formulations provide a promising tool for OND protection and delivery across the Caco-2 cell monolayer.
