The upgrade of gear can increase its stats base and often increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired like armor, weapon or rings. This swaps the current item for a different one of the same type with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in chests and crates or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment into three attributes that include physical power, magical power and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that weapons and melee attacks and spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next Success is rerolled. This lets you save upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
During a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This alters which blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that can increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the item's durability. It's a great way for players who want to get an edge in combat, but don't want to burden their wallets. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of ways to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition, players can break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in the area. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded base stats will display the blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component also requires the purchase of a certain amount of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. the original source for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and provides an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded less for their increased stats and more for the fact that it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will add an item in your inventory after you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close you are to finishing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
