What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?
Transparent device that can evolve certain Pokemon species. Silph Co. produced it.
The item upgrader is an additional widget to the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager is a cost of 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no other benefit to the game, aside from making it easier to buy upgrades.
Boosts
With an upgrader for your item you can enjoy many bonuses. They can include stats and extra bonuses. These bonuses can be utilized on armor, weapons and trinkets. They can be used to improve the capabilities of a character, or add a new element of variety to their character.
The World of Warcraft upgrade system allows players to upgrade their equipment by paying currency at an upgrader for their item. This system first came into play in Mists of Pandaria, and continued in Warlords Of Draenor. It is a convenient method to boost the level of your equipment, allowing you to bypass the monotonous grind of questing and avoiding numerous wipes in Mythic+ dungeons.
When an item is improved the type of item it is going to change. Upgrades to a normal item produce an Exceptional version, while upgrades to an Exceptional version create an Elite. The item will keep all of its pre-upgrade statistics however it will also get an additional benefit from its new base type. This bonus is randomly chosen. It could be a weapon with more damage range, an improved speed of reloading, or an increased defense roll.
The amount of extras you can get when upgrading depends on the amount of upgrades performed. Each upgrade will boost the extras by a maximum of 3 points. Each upgrade will also boost the stats in the main menu by +1.
Some upgrades also provide a secondary random boost in addition to stat boosts. These boosts are valuable and should be considered when deciding what items to upgrade. Some of these boosts are only suitable for specific builds (such as Whistan's shield for FB sorcs) while others can bring an enormous amount of value to specific collectors.
Certain items come with a built-in boos which is less useful when upgraded. For instance, the Goldwrap offers an additional potion slots. These are often upp'd to increase the value of a perfect or near-perfect item.
Costs
Upgrades come with some associated costs. The first is the upgrade itself. The cost is based on the new level of the item and the number of perks it gains and can be costly. It can also be expensive to upgrade an item to a higher level (such as Explorer > Champion, or Veteran > Heroic).
The other is the cost of materials needed for an upgrade. These items are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons or specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor Quests. The quantity of these items required can be seen in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
It takes time to upgrade an item. Depending on the size of the upgrade, it could take anywhere from 8 to 12 hours. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated by using the new ilvl of the item bonuses, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, as well as other important statistics. In some instances the upgrade can grant additional benefits that can be chosen from a list of advantages.
Rarely, the new advantages acquired will cost more than one perk slot; in these situations, the upgrade will only replace the perks with the highest cost. Sometimes, the upgrader may make other changes to an item, like changing its weapon damage type or removing or adding an unwieldy or operative property. These modifications are based on an item's ilvl. They may also require special materials, like adamantine.
Success Rate
Upgrades to items are based on the chance of success, and as with any random system there is an opportunity that the upgrade will fail. However, there are a few things that can help to increase the odds of success. These include the use of an item dubbed an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of additional materials to the upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity can be purchased from the NPC for the smithing process in Lost Ark. It increases the chances of the upgrade being successful by some percentage. It is similar to the luck bonus certain items offer but is more stable. This can be added to any weapon or armor, and is used three times.
You can also add other materials to the upgrade to increase the chances of success. The materials are displayed in a window located above the + button. There are a few limitations. The maximum amount of material you can upload is shown directly above the + button.
Another method to increase the odds of a successful upgrade is by using an item called Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is useful when your piece of equipment or weapon is nearing or has reached the top level of its level. This item will allow you upgrade the equipment to the next tier without risking its breaking.
If an upgrade fails it will be restored to its previous state. This is typically a break, but can also be a downgrade. Save an upgrade until you are nearing the maximum level of an item.
There are many items in the Kafra shop that can be used to increase the chances of a successful upgrade. You can boost your chances of success by upgrading your equipment multiple times with HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. Also, increasing the chances to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will increase the success rate.
Failure Rate
The upgrader for items allows players to add a second slot in their equipment. These slots can be used to upgrade an item or apply an enchantment. It is important to note that not all items can be upgraded. The rate of upgrade and enchantment is dependent on the rank of the item. The higher the rank, the more Zen and items you will need to upgrade it.
This system can be very expensive, especially for high-level equipment. It could cost as high as 100,000 z and 100 Carnium to upgrade an armor or weapon. As you rise in rank, the chances of success diminish. However, you can use cash shop items to increase the chance of upgrading an item effectively.
Normal Upgrade is a standard upgrade that can only be used on armor, weapons and bikes. It requires different grades of core depending on the kind of item. In general, lower-grade items require cheaper cores while higher grade items require more expensive ones.
You must have the right number of cores before you can do an upgrade. Once item upgrading have them, click the button next to the item you want to upgrade. The upgrade window will show a percentage indicator of your odds of success. The percentage is based on the upgrade level and core type of the item you have selected.
You can also select a safeguard that will protect your equipment in the event of a failure. The cost of this protection can differ but will always be lower than the cost of purchasing a new item. The protection is only valid once for each upgrade and will last until it is used again.
The UI for the item upgrader could be a bit confusing, but it's not difficult to navigate. The main menu appears on the left, and the upgrade window is on the right. The arrows to the left side of the UI depict the various stages of the upgrade process. If you're not certain what you're doing, you can use the question mark icon to get help. The upgrade process can take up to five minutes.
