Objectives The rapid discovery of clinically significant genetic variants has translated to next-generation sequencing assays becoming out-of-date by the time they are designed, validated, and implemented. UW-OncoPlex addresses this through the adoption of a modular panel capable of redesign as significant alterations are identified. We describe the validation of OncoPlex version 6 (OPXv6) for the detection of single nucleotide variants (SNVs), insertions and deletions (indels), copy number variants (CNVs), structural variants (SVs), microsatellite instability (MSI), and tumor mutational burden (TMB) in a panel of 340 genes. Design One hundred twelve samples with diverse diagnoses were comprised of formalin-fixed-paraffin-embedded tissue, fresh-frozen tissue, plasma, peripheral blood, bone marrow, saliva, and cell-line DNA. Libraries were prepared from genomic and cell-free DNA, hybridized to a custom panel of xGen Lockdown probes, and sequenced on Illumina platforms. Sequences were processed through a custom bioinformatics pipeline, and variant calls were compared to prior orthogonal clinical results. Results Accuracy was 99% for SNVs ≥5% allele frequency, 98% for indels, 97% for SVs, 99% for CNVs, 100% for MSI, and 100% for TMB (compared to previous OncoPlex versions). Library preparation turnaround time decreased by 40%, and sequencing quality improved with a 2.5-fold increase in average sequencing coverage and 4-fold increase in percent on-target. Conclusions OPXv6 demonstrates improvements over prior UW-OncoPlex versions including reduced capture cost, improved sequencing quality, and decreased time to results. The modular capture probe design also provides a nimble laboratory response in addressing the expansions necessary to meet the needs of the continuously evolving field of molecular oncology. © 2020 The Authors. The data presented in this paper are used to examine the uncertainty in macroeconomic variables and their impact on the Gini coefficient. Annual data for the period 2017 - 1996 are taken from the Bank of Iran website https//www.cbi.ir. We used fuzzy regression with symmetric coefficients to calculate upper and lower bound data of Gini coefficient. Estimated data at this stage can be a very useful guide for policymakers, on the other hand, it is a benchmark for evaluating the effectiveness of government policies. The reason for using fuzzy regression to estimate data on Gini coefficients is the extra flexibility of this model. © 2020 The Author(s).The data collection was initiated to evaluate the effects of supplementary phospholipid to non-fishmeal based diet in order to make functional diets for the Malaysian Mahseer, Tor tambroides. Four iso-nitrogenous and iso-lipidic diets were formulated to consist 100% fishmeal (FM100), 0% fishmeal or full fishmeal replacement (FM0), and 0% fishmeal supplemented with 4% phospholipids (FM0+4%PL), 6% phospholipids (FM0+6%PL). A 60-day feeding trial was conducted and data collection was carried out for the following parameters; growth indices, somatic parameters, whole body nutrient composition, muscle fatty acid composition, haematocrit value and serum lysozyme activity. Fish fed FM0 diets showed significantly poor performance (P less then 0.05) for all parameters. click here Fish showed improved growth, better whole body protein content and higher lysozyme activity when fed FM100 and phospholipid supplemented diets. In general, the current study validated that dietary PL supplementation may possibly improve the growth and survival of juvenile T. tambroides fed non-fishmeal based diets. Findings of this research could contribute in the aquaculture development of T. tambroides. © 2020 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Inc.Wood-decomposition in terrestrial ecosystems is a very important process with huge ecologic consequences. This decomposition process is a combination of biological respiration, leaching and fragmentation, mainly triggered by organismic activities. In order to gain a deeper insight into these microbial communities and their role in deadwood decay, we used metaproteomics. Metaproteomics is an important tool and offers the ability to characterize the protein complement of environmental microbiota at a given point in time. In this dataset, we provide data of an exemplary beech wood log and applied different extraction methods to provide the proteome profile of beech dead wood and their corresponding fungal-bacterial community. © 2020 The Authors. [1], and its comparison with several sectors in Argentina. The dataset provided are high-resolution inventories (0.025° × 0.025° lat/long) for CO2, CH4, N2O and another 8 species from livestock, biomass burning, agriculture and another 12 sectors (based on 2016 year). In addition, we also provide the database for 2014 using the same methodology. The dataset presented are necessary to improve input inventories for air quality models. Also, they are better to inform and guide the stakeholders, in making decisions related to environmental protection and health promotion, as well as assessing the environmental performance in terms of atmospheric emissions of an activity, sector or region in Argentina. © 2020 The Author(s).In the epilepsy monitoring unit of the Department of Neurology at the University Clinic of Salzburg 20 adult patients were recruited to participate in a validation of 6 parallel versions of the virtual reality test for episodic memory. Patients were tested up to 7 times, i.e. twice a day, in the morning and evening, beginning on Monday evening. Each session consisted of learning a new town and immediate recall for this town. All sessions but the first one included also delayed recall of the previously learned town and a recognition test. Recall included the sub-scales what, details, when, egocentric where and allocentric where. Recognition memory was tested by presenting the patients 30 sentences of which 15 were true and 15 were false. While not all patients completed the full testing schedule, at immediate recall for 9 patients a full data set (7 sessions) is available. All patients were free of antiepileptic medication (N = 19) or medication was kept constant across the week (N = 1). This data can be used to demonstrate the feasibility to use the virtual reality test in the epilepsy monitoring unit e.
