The Band Toto Asia
Toto expanded its production facilities overseas, and was doing business in France and Germany, Indonesia, Korea and Taiwan, Thailand and the People's Republic of China. Toto believed that North America as a growth market for Washlet bidets and toilets, as opposed to its "base" markets of Japan and China.
Dhaniram Toto documented Toto words to ensure that the future generation could read the words. However, many of the words were replaced with foreign words, such as dui, which is Bengali for verandah.
Origins
Toto's early history, which began in 1917, was a reflection of Japan's rapid economic growth. In the first half of its existence, the company made products to meet the demands of modern and contemporary urban housing. To achieve this, it employed the first tunnel kiln in the country to produce ceramics in a continuous flow. It also pioneered the use of automation to control production, which allows for more efficiency and consistency.
The company began expanding overseas in the late 1980s in order to take advantage of new markets and sales opportunities. It launched the Cera Trading Company, importing and selling other products from other manufacturers to complement its own lines of sanitary earthenware and plumbing fittings. This strategy boosted sales and increased the company's market share.
By the 1990s, Toto had shifted its focus on research and development of household appliances that use water. It also redesigned its distribution system to better serve customers and boost profits. The company implemented a just-in-time approach to supply chain management and applied the same approach for its sales process. This resulted in a greater degree of customer satisfaction.
Toto has continued to innovate in the toilet technology. The most recent toilet features a strong, eco-friendly tornado flush. The company also uses recycled water in its production process and has a green procurement policy. Apart from toilets, Toto produces bathtubs and faucets and hand dryers that are more energy efficient than typical models.
The first Toto museum opened in 2015. It features exhibits on Toto’s seminal products, their evolution, the group companies (all of which are made from ceramics) and the history of plumbing and products such as bath units. In a separate gallery you will find Toto products that are sold throughout. The museum also has the bathroom equipped with a WASHLET and other toilet innovations.
Before the formation of Toto members of the group did session work for various musicians. Boz Scaggs' album Silk Degrees featured keyboardist David Paich as well as guitarists Mike Porcaro & Steve Lukather as well as drummer Jeff Porcaro & Steve Lukather. They also appeared on records by Steely Don, Seals and Crofts and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
It is common for a group with a name such as Asia to be a prog rock band, but it is actually a relatively straightforward rock band. The group started out as a quartet, and they recorded two albums: 1979's self titled debut and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. Although the band have a variety of musical backgrounds their biggest breakthrough came in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a major blockbuster, but it was not without its issues. The record companies placed Toto under pressure to deliver an album that was a success or else they would pull the album. Toto was able to achieve this through the aid of the hit song "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery is a result of their previous experiences. Before joining the group, members worked as session musicians for artists such as Boz Scaggs. Steely Dan and Seals and Crofts. Their sonic signature has become the norm for '80s pop, influencing many contemporary artists.
The album begins with a hefty dose of hard rock, with songs such as Running Out of Time and Unknown Soldier showcasing the bands ability to write fantastic AOR songs that slowly build their hooks into you. The album also has some slower, more jazzy tracks, like The Little Things and Chinatown. The album closes with Great Expectations. This song is a mix of folk and distortion AOR, which should sound completely wrong but actually works extremely well.
After Toto IV, the band's fortunes turned for the worse. David Hungate left the band to focus on his solo career, and the band had a variety of drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball was fired from the band in the after he was charged with drug abuse. the group continued to perform as a trio featuring Michael Porcaro and Steve Lukather.
Despite the chaos, Toto forged ahead and released Isolation, which was not as successful as IV. However, the group had a successful chart-topping album in the year 1992 with Kingdom of Desire. This album marked the end of Toto's lineup and the debut of Simon Phillips, a new vocalist.

Steve Lukather and Joe Williams have formed a strong, colorful friendship that thrives professionally on a global basis. In 2018 the duo celebrated their 40th anniversary of Tours Around The Sun by a hugely profitable global tour. The album that bears the same name was ranked #5 on Billboard 200. Line-up
The band's third album, Turn Back, marked the return to the traditional sextet format of the previous albums. It was a more ferocious, constant effort with an edge that was more pronounced than Hydra. The more edgier sound of Turn Back reflected the growth of the band. Bobby Kimball's growing ability to play was evident in the vocal delivery of Joseph Williams, who had grown more confident and mature. David Paich's keyboard skills were also sharper, more complex, and less derivative on earlier efforts.
After touring to promote the album, the band recorded a live concert in Amsterdam that was released as a two-CD set entitled Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records. A new studio album followed a few months later, and the band embarked on an extensive world tour in support of it. During this time keyboardist Greg Phillinganes replaced Paich and bassist David Hungate quit the group to spend time with his family.
In 토지노 커뮤니티 , Paich and Lukather started looking through old demo tapes and tapes to make a new album featuring songs that had never been recorded before. 먹튀검증 was completed in 2001 as a duo album titled Then and Now. It was the first album in the history of the band not to feature a single song with the word "A" in the title, and it also contained one previously unreleased track, "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure, and singer Williams suffered from a bad laryngitis infection that limited his singing abilities. Additionally, Hungate returned to Nashville, while drummer Leland Sklar was replaced by Shem von Schroeck.
Downes along with the other members of Asia--Wetton, Palmer, and Howe--convened an event in England in the beginning of 2006 to discuss the possibility of officially reforming the band. The lineup, with the exception of Howe who was busy with Yes at the time, became Toto XIV. They toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The group also had a guest appearance by singer Michael McDonald, and a backing singer named Mabvuto Carpenter.
