Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.
For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or rings. This swaps the current item for one of the same type with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't keep the original item's level, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in chests and crates or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item of equipment such as increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment with three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To make them, you'll need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next success result is repeated. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
In the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to gain an advantage in battle without straining their bank account. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for novice players. There are a variety of methods to get them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally, players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.
Items with upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. Also, when an item reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for the track will be offered at a discount.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Items upgrades enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the type of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This gives them additional effects or an increase in quality of the item. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", on the other hand increases damage to weapons.
Some items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the level of the item and the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far to completing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
