10 Healthy Item Upgrade Habits

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an item you have acquired like an armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one similar one, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original item's level and any wasted resources won't get compensated.
The survivors can get reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item of equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher level token to reroll. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next success is to be rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they are open, they display a full description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
During a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones are also available to players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to get an advantage in combat without putting a strain on their accounts. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will be upgraded to an upgraded level. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at the same time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be added, as well as a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of the item will increase by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available for it. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will have a discount.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the type of item but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's statistics.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Some items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
item upgrading will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will place an item in your inventory when you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
