The results of this study may facilitate the recommendation of oral vitamin D supplementation in the population of interest. In addition, it is a low-cost and easy-to-apply intervention that could contribute to the formulation and implementation of health policies.
NCT04377386.
NCT04377386.The aim of this study was to provide an innovative nomogram to predict the risk of >2 positive nodes in patients fulfilling the Z0011 criteria with 1-2 sentinel lymph nodes (SLNs) only retrieved. From 2007 to 2017, at the Breast Unit of ICS Maugeri Hospital 271 patients with 1-2 macrometastatic SLNs, fulfilling the Z0011 criteria, underwent axillary dissection and were retrospectively reviewed.A mean of 1.5 SLNs per patient were identified and retrieved. One hundred eighty-seven (69.0%) had 1-2 positive nodes, and 84 (31.0%) had >2 metastatic nodes. Independent predictors of axillary status were positive SLNs/retrieved SLNs ratio (odds ratio [OR] 10.95, P = .001), extranodal extension (OR 5.51, P = .0002), and multifocal disease (OR 2.9, P = .003). A nomogram based on these variables was constructed (area under curve after bootstrap = 0.74).The proposed nomogram might select those patients fulfilling the Z0011 criteria, with 1-2 SLNs harvested, in whom a high axillary tumor burden is expected, aiding to guide adjuvant treatments.
Primary dysmenorrhea (PD), also called functional dysmenorrhea, refers to a woman's menstrual period in genital no organic disease, abdominal pain, under the belly and other discomfort for the characteristics of disease of department of gynecology. Acupuncture and moxibustion have been accepted as treatment options for PD. So far, there are so many therapies for PD and their efficacy has been assessed by several systematic reviews. Therefore, this study aims at evaluating the effectiveness which acupuncture and moxibustion technique is more effective for primary dysmenorrhea.
The following electronic databases will be searched in this study the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL);PubMed; EMBASE; China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI); Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM);Chinese Scientific Journal Database (VIP database); and Wan-Fang Database(WF). More than two authors independently assessed the quality of the evidence by AMSTAR2, PRISMA, PRISMA-A, and GRADE approach. Two of our researchers will use the bias risk tool provided by the Cochrane Collaboration to evaluate the quality of the literature using WinBUGS 1.4.3 and STATA softwares. The primary outcomes include the extent of pain in the lower abdomen measured by visual analog scale (VAS) and relief from symptoms. Cyclopamine molecular weight The quality of life (QoL) and Adverse events will be considered as Additional outcome(s). Their reference lists and the citation lists of studies meeting the inclusion criteria and relevant systematic reviews will also be searched to identify further studies for inclusion. Before this review completed, the 2 reviewers will conduct the search once again to ensure the latest studies could be included.
This review does not require ethical approval.
The results will be published in a peer-reviewed journal.
This study will provide comprehensive evidence of acupuncture and moxibustion for patients with PD.

INPLASY2020500106.To explore the relationship between C3435T polymorphism of multi-drug resistance gene (MDR1) gene and susceptibility, clinicopathological characteristics, curative effect and hematological toxicity of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in XinJiang. The peripheral venous blood samples of 54 patients with DLBCL and 60 healthy controls were collected. The alleles and genotypes of MDR1 gene C3435T were detected by DNA direct extraction with PCR technique, and the frequency of C3435T allele and genotypes were detected by the chi-square test. The relationship between the allele and genotype distribution of C3435T locus and the susceptibility, clinicopathological characteristics, curative effect and hematological toxicity of DLBCL were analyzed.1 the frequency of CT heterozygote and CC homozygote mutation was significantly higher in the case group (46.3% in CT genotype and 42.6% in CC genotype) compared to the control group (P  0.05).The homozygous mutation genotype of CC is the risk genotype of DLBCL. The alleles and genotypes are not associated with the clinicopathological characteristics, efficacy and myelosuppression toxicity of DLBCL.The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak has become a global health threat and will likely be one of the greatest global challenges in the near future. The battle between clinicians and the COVID-19 outbreak may be a "protracted war."The objective of this study was to investigate the risk factors for in-hospital mortality in patients with COVID-19, so as to provide a reference for the early diagnosis and treatment. This study retrospectively enrolled 118 patients diagnosed with COVID-19, who were admitted to Eastern District of Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University from February 04, 2020 to March 04, 2020. The demographics and laboratory data were collected and compared between survivors and nonsurvivors. The risk factors of in-hospital mortality were explored by univariable and multivariable logistic regression to construct a clinical prediction model, the prediction efficiency of which was verified by receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) curve.A total of 118 patients (49 males and 69 females) were i decreased lymphocyte count at admission were risk factors associated with in-hospital mortality of COVID-19. The prediction model combined of these factors could improve the early identification of mortality risk in COVID-19 patients. The aim of this study was to survey the prevalence of dry eye symptoms (DES) among doctors and nurses in the period of 2019, novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. To evaluate the DES of doctors and nurses worked at front-line hospitals with protective glasses for a mean time of 4 to 6 hours, a questionnaire developed by the researchers with the Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI) was used. These data were evaluated using descriptive statistics and correlation test with SPSS 22.0.The study included 13 doctors and 40 nurses, among which 16 were male and 37 were female, and the mean age of the participants was 32.43 ± 5.15 years old. According to the OSDI scores, 64.15, 24.52, 7.54, and 3.77% of the participants experienced occasional, mild, moderate, and severe DES, respectively. The factors significantly correlated with OSDI scores were age and duration of wearing protective glasses, while the duration of wearing protective glasses may be a protective factor of dry eye symptoms. Our study showed that most of the doctors and nurses worked at the front-line of combating COVID-19 did not experience DES, while the symptoms of those who experienced DES might be improved by wearing protective glasses.
